Barefoot Films was tasked with the challenge of keeping up with the high speed pace of a Jesse Itzler running event. All Day Running Co hosted a multi-faceted running event leading up to the main event, Hell on the Hill. Considered the hilliest half marathon in the world, hundreds of participants tried their luck of completing it.

In high speed, ultra endurance events, it’s critical to have a production crew that can keep up with the physical demands and still capture raw and captivating footage. Our DP, Blake, not only solo filmed the entire event but he also banged out 7 miles of the hill with a camera rig in hand…. all while barefoot.
